On March 23rd, the National Robotics Championship „First Tech Challenge Romania” had a very special guest – Kip Thorne, the American theoretical physicist and laureate of Nobel prize in 2017. Kip Thorne is also a scientific researcher and executive producer of Cristopher Nolan’s film „Interstellar”.
Some of the RobotX Hunedoara members and also their mentor, Mircea Nistor had the huge opportunity to talk to him about „Interstellar” movie and physics concepts. It was a great honour to meet such an amazing person and it really inspired us to plan new projects in the future.
We’ll keep this meeting in our minds and souls for ever!
